Lago Mar Amenity Village Continues to Garner Awards

How would you describe the clubhouse at the state’s best amenity? Stately, impressive and award-winning!

The Lago Mar Amenity Village was named Best Community Amenity this summer in the Texas Association of Builders’ Star Awards and now the 12,000-square-foot clubhouse has won Master-Planned Community Recreation Center of the Year in the recent Houston’s Best PRISM Awards hosted by the Greater Houston Builders Association.

Offering a great room, meeting rooms, conference rooms, offices for on-site staff and a fitness facility, the clubhouse was designed to maximize views of the lagoon, with walls of windows and an expansive patio. The interior’s neutral décor is accented with colors reminiscent of the lagoon. Teak finishes and quartz countertops can be found throughout.

The clubhouse overlooks a 12-acre crystal clear lagoon — the state’s largest. Boasting turquoise waters, the lagoon features a patented technology that gives the water its signature clarity using minimal amounts of chemicals and energy.

Residents enjoy lazy days at the lagoon, as well as a number of lifestyle events hosted at the Amenity Village.

The award-winning clubhouse and Amenity Village are part of the reason why Lago Mar was named Master-Planned Community of the Year in last year’s Houston’s Best PRISM Awards. Also contributing to that win are the community’s other amenities — a second clubhouse, pool, fitness facility, playground and more — as well as the GreenBoLT 12-foot pedestrian trail system that winds through the community. Functional design, creative use of space, community site planning and architectural continuity were all factors considered when awarding Master-Planned Community of the Year.

Fifteen builders offer new homes in Lago Mar priced from the upper $200,000s. Many homes are ready now in the community with dozens more slated to be complete by year’s end. Make the move to Lago Mar and you could be hanging out at our award-winning amenities in no time!
