We use the term the “Lagoon Life” a lot, but what do we mean by it? To be honest, it means different things to different residents. Rather than trying to sum it up, we thought we would let our residents explain it in their own words. Once you hear what they have to say, we’re sure you’ll agree that there is nothing like Lagoon Life and nothing like Lago Mar.
For my family, living here means we can spend more time together because there’s entertainment in our own community: the kids can go out riding on the trails, the walking areas, playground, soccer fields... and of course the lagoon!
Not having to venture out to entertain the kids has been great. I travel all week for work—I don’t want to travel on the weekends, and it’s been wonderful to be able to bring the kids to the lagoon to swim just minutes away from our house. Plus, all the seasonal events the lagoon hosts have been exceptional.
We bought in this neighborhood for our kids, and we love it! It’s so nice to be right down the street from the lagoon, to enjoy the pool, and it definitely gives you something to do every day and every weekend! The community is well taken care of, good school district, and it’s great raising our kids here. It’s close to everything- Galveston, Houston, and restaurants.
This is the most beautiful neighborhood that we could imagine raising our kids in. It offers a lot of beautiful amenities. It’s hard to find parks around here, and we have two parks, trails, and we love to ride our bikes every day.
I like the lake and how it’s so big! When my friends come over, we play at the lagoon, jump on the trampoline, and play water volleyball.
