Kid-friendly 4th of July Fun Near Lago Mar
Looking for some kid-friendly fun on Independence Day? You’re in luck. The Bay Area offers all sorts of festivities usually ending in fireworks. Here are the best events near Lago Mar:
League City Fireworks Extravaganza
6-10 p.m. Monday, July 3

Pre-game your Independence Day with League City’s annual fun fest. There will be live music, inflatables, food trucks and fireworks.
Texas City Independence Day Concert & Fireworks
7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 4

Start the day with a star-spangled parade at 10 a.m., enjoy some family time and then bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnic baskets to Bay Street Park at 7 p.m. for live music and an explosive fireworks display.
City of Webster Fourth of July Celebration

Texas Avenue Park will host the annual Salute to Veterans ceremony as well as games, children’s activities, Webster Police K-9 demonstration, live music, food trucks and fireworks.
City of Nassau Bay 4th of July Celebration

Cool off and celebrate freedom with a city-wide Water Wars water fight. Grab water guns and water hoses and search for people to spray. Line up with your towel for a parade at 5:15 p.m. followed by a celebration featuring food vendors, live music and a pie contest. The event ends with a spectacular fireworks display.

Baytown’s Independence Day Celebration

Enjoy not one but two days of music, food and fun. The event is known for attracting top musical artists and this year doesn’t disappoint. Monday will feature Grammy award winners Siggno and Sunny Sauceda. On our nation’s birthday, LeAnn Rimes will headline. There will also be a parade, food trucks, vendors and fireworks.
